Factory &
Manufacturing Capacity
50,000+ m² of vertically integrated production in Xiamen -- from raw PVC pellet and rough-sawn timber through to finished, packaged window coverings. This page documents the equipment, headcount and annual output figures behind that claim.

What the Numbers
Actually Mean
The figures below reflect the production infrastructure as of the current operating year. We list equipment counts and headcount because those are the inputs buyers use to validate capacity -- not marketing claims.
| Equipment / Resource | Count / Scale | Category |
|---|---|---|
| Total factory floor area | 50,000+ m² | Facility |
| Production employees | 400+ | People |
| PVC extrusion lines (in-house) | 50+ | Extrusion |
| Proprietary PVC profile dies | 200+ | Extrusion |
| CNC machining centres (wood & aluminium) | 20+ | Woodwork |
| Automated coating / finishing lines | 3 | Finishing |
| Roller / zebra shade cutting & ultrasonic edge-sealing machines | 15+ | Shades |
| Honeycomb shade heat-press forming lines | 6 | Shades |
| Automated assembly workstations | 80+ | Assembly |
Equipment counts reflect current operating capacity. Figures are updated periodically as new lines are commissioned.
Why Equipment Counts Matter for B2B Buyers
A factory with 50+ extrusion lines and 200+ proprietary dies does not depend on external profile suppliers. That means your product specification is not subject to a third party's minimum order or lead time. It also means wall-thickness tolerances and compound formulation are controlled in-house -- auditable at source, not assumed.
Similarly, 80+ automated assembly workstations means consistent torque, consistent hardware placement and consistent packaging -- not operator-to-operator variation on a manual bench.
For buyers conducting supplier audits, these figures represent verifiable inputs -- not marketing language. We welcome factory visits and third-party inspections at any stage of the sourcing process.
One Supply Chain.
Zero Dependency on
Sub-Suppliers.
Most window covering manufacturers assemble from bought-in components. Goodwood manufactures those components. The difference is not a marketing position -- it is a structural advantage that affects your pricing, lead time and quality consistency.
PVC: Compound to Profile
Raw PVC compound is fed into 50+ in-house extrusion lines. We control the compound formulation, die geometry and cooling rate. Wall thickness is checked every 30 minutes per line using in-line gauging -- not batch sampling. The result is that every profile that enters the assembly area has a verified cross-section, not a tolerated one.
With 200+ proprietary dies, we can produce arch, circular and triangular shutter frames as a standard production run -- not as a special-order premium that adds two weeks and a tooling surcharge.
Wood: Rough Timber to Finished Louvre
Basswood, FSC® certified pine, paulownia and ash enter the factory as rough-sawn or kiln-dried blanks. 20+ CNC machining centres mill, profile and sand each louvre, frame component and tilt rod to tolerance. Arch and shaped frames are cut on the same centres -- no outsourced routing.
Three automated coating lines apply water-based primer and topcoat in sequence. UV anti-yellowing and humidity cycling tests are run on every production batch -- not on sampled units. Powder coating for aluminium components is handled on the same site.
Honest note on wood: Solid-wood shutters are not recommended for rooms with sustained humidity above 70%. PVC or aluminium frames are the appropriate specification for steam-heavy bathrooms or high-humidity climates.
Assembly & Finished Product
80+ automated assembly workstations handle hardware insertion, tilt-rod routing, louvre hanging and frame assembly. Torque settings are fixed per product type, not operator-adjusted. Final QC checks cover louvre alignment, tilt mechanism operation and finish consistency before the unit moves to packaging.
For window shades, 15+ cutting and ultrasonic edge-sealing machines handle roller, zebra and Shangri-La fabrics. Six heat-press lines produce honeycomb cells. Motorised roller assemblies are tested for cycle count before shipping.
The quality control system that sits across all three manufacturing stages -- IQC, IPQC, FQC and outbound packaging tests -- is documented separately.
