Paths
Per Year
PVC Material Path
PVC extrusion follows a fully in-house production path -- from resin compounding through to final inspection -- with no dependency on third-party profile suppliers.
Virgin PVC pellets blended in-house; wall thickness & compound formulation controlled internally
50+ dedicated extrusion lines; 200+ proprietary die profiles for louvres, frames and rails
CNC cross-cut to spec; custom louvre widths 47-130 mm; arched and shaped profiles processed at this stage
80+ automated assembly workstations; tilt rod, staple-free tenon joints, tension calibration
FQC full-panel check; UV anti-yellowing test; foam-insert export carton
Process note: No colour coating is applied to standard PVC louvres -- colour stability is achieved through compound pigmentation at the extrusion stage. This eliminates peeling or surface delamination over the product lifetime.
Production Process
Aluminum Material Path
Aluminum 6063-T5 processing -- from billet extrusion through powder coating to final assembly -- handled entirely on-site with in-house die tooling and finishing capability.
Specification note: Aluminum 6063-T5 is recommended for coastal, high-humidity or marine environments where solid wood or PVC may not perform optimally. Custom colour matching available; minimum run quantities apply.
Wood Material Path
Solid wood machining spans nine production stages -- from timber grading and kiln drying through CNC shaping, multi-coat finishing and final assembly -- all managed under one roof.
-
Timber GradingBasswood, paulownia, ash and FSC® pine inspected at intake; moisture content checked before processing
-
Rough MillingGang rip saws reduce blanks to louvre and frame blanks; defect zones removed at this stage
-
Kiln Drying4+ drying kilns; target moisture content 8-12% to reduce in-service warping risk
-
CNC Profile Shaping20+ CNC machining centres; louvre radius, mortise and tenon, arch and shaped frames in a single setup
-
Sanding6+ wide-belt sanders; multi-grit sequence from 80 to 220; open-pore surface prepared for coating
-
Coating & Staining3 automated water-based coating lines; primer + sealer + topcoat sequence; UV anti-yellowing test on every batch
-
Cutting & DrillingFinal cross-cut to order dimensions; tilt rod holes, staple slots and hinge mortises punched or bored to spec
-
AssemblyPanel build-up at dedicated workstations; louvre tension, hinge alignment and frame squareness verified
-
Inspection & PackingFQC full-unit check; humidity cycling test; foam-cornered export carton with bilingual labelling
Humidity advisory: Solid wood shutters are not recommended for rooms with sustained ambient humidity above 70% (e.g. steam-heavy bathrooms or laundries). PVC or aluminum are the appropriate specification for those environments.
