& Branding
25mm & 50mm Slat Widths.
One Manufacturer.
Both slat formats are produced in-house on dedicated CNC lines. Material selection, finish and ladder-tape configuration are specified per order -- there are no off-the-shelf stock constraints for qualifying wholesale volumes.
25mm Slat -- Fine-Scale Control
25mmSuited to smaller window openings and spaces where a finer visual texture is preferred. Common in residential bedroom and office applications. The narrower profile reduces the visual weight of the blind when fully open.
| Slat Width | 25mm |
| Slat Thickness | ~2.5mm |
| Primary Material | Basswood, Paulownia |
| Finish Options | Natural, Stained, Painted (custom) |
| Max Width | Confirm at enquiry stage |
| Cut-Down Service | Available for distributors |
50mm Slat -- Statement Proportions
50mmWider slats suit larger windows and commercial or hospitality interiors where a more substantial, architectural look is required. The broader profile also means fewer slats per blind, which can simplify cleaning and maintenance for end users.
| Slat Width | 50mm |
| Slat Thickness | ~3.0-3.5mm |
| Primary Material | Basswood, Paulownia |
| Finish Options | Natural, Stained, Painted (custom) |
| Max Width | Narrower practical max than PVC -- confirm at enquiry |
| Cut-Down Service | Available for distributors |
Cut-Down & Sizing Service for Wholesale Distributors
We offer a cut-down sizing service for wholesale partners who require pre-cut blind widths for retail display stock or project-specific requirements. Minimum order quantities and service parameters are confirmed at the enquiry stage. Please note that wood slats have a narrower practical maximum width than PVC equivalents -- confirm your maximum span requirement before finalising specifications.
Cord-Lift & Cordless.
Both in Production.
Both operation systems are assembled in-house on dedicated lines. The choice between cord-lift and cordless is specified per order -- no additional tooling lead time is required for either option at qualifying volumes.
Cord-Lift Operation
Standard cord-lift system with tilt wand for slat angle adjustment. The cord routes through a locking mechanism on the headrail, allowing the blind to be raised, lowered and tilted independently. Suitable for most commercial and residential applications.
- Standard for most wholesale and project applications
- Separate tilt wand for precise louvre angle control
- Compatible with both 25mm and 50mm slat formats
- Lower per-unit cost -- preferred for high-volume project orders
Cordless Operation
Child-safety compliant cordless system. The blind is raised and lowered by hand-lifting the bottom rail, with an internal spring-tensioned mechanism holding position. Required in markets with child-safety regulations covering window coverings with accessible cords.
- Child-safety compliant -- no accessible lift cord
- Preferred for residential retail markets (US, AU, UK)
- Compatible with both 25mm and 50mm slat formats
- Cleaner aesthetic -- no visible cord hardware on face
Headrail & Component Assembly -- Standard Configuration
Component combinations and colour matching are confirmed during the sample and specification phase. We recommend requesting a physical sample set before committing colour specifications for large orders.
Where Wood Performs Well.
Where It Does Not.
Wood is a natural material with genuine performance advantages in the right environments -- and real limitations in the wrong ones. We set these out clearly so your customers receive the right product for their application, and you avoid warranty and return issues downstream.
Suitable Environments
-
Living Rooms & Dining AreasStable humidity, good light control requirements -- wood performs well and provides a warm aesthetic
-
BedroomsLow humidity variation, low mechanical stress on slats -- a natural fit for 25mm and 50mm wood formats
-
Office & Commercial InteriorsClimate-controlled environments with consistent humidity -- 50mm slats particularly suited to large commercial window spans
-
Hospitality & Retail SpacesWhere a premium natural-material finish is a specification requirement and humidity is managed by HVAC
Not Recommended -- High Humidity Areas
-
Bathrooms & Wet RoomsSustained humidity above 70% causes wood slats to warp, bow and delaminate over time -- this is a material property, not a manufacturing defect
-
Kitchens with Steam ExposureCooking steam and grease accumulation degrade wood finishes and accelerate moisture absorption -- particularly relevant to window positions above or adjacent to hobs
-
Laundry Rooms & Pool EnclosuresEnvironments with regular condensation or airborne moisture are not appropriate for any wood window covering product
-
Unheated Conservatories & SunroomsWide temperature and humidity swings in uninsulated glass structures accelerate movement and finish degradation in wood products
Frequently Asked Specification Questions
- What is the maximum width available for wood venetian blinds?
- Maximum width is material and slat-width dependent. Wood slats have a narrower practical maximum than PVC due to structural deflection at wider spans. Please confirm your maximum span requirement at the enquiry stage -- we will advise on the appropriate specification.
- Can I specify custom stain colours for private-label orders?
- Yes. Custom stain and paint colours are available for OEM and private-label orders. A physical colour sample is required for colour-matching confirmation before production. Minimum order quantities apply -- confirm at the enquiry stage.
- Are cordless blinds required in all target markets?
- Child-safety regulations covering accessible cords vary by market and are subject to ongoing legislative change. In the US, Australia and UK in particular, cordless or inaccessible-cord configurations are increasingly standard for residential applications. We recommend confirming the current regulatory position in your target market before specifying cord-lift for residential retail stock.
- What is the lead time and what shipping modes are available?
- Standard production lead time for wood venetian blinds is 20-30 days from order confirmation. We support FCL mixed-load container shipping, LCL consolidation, and air freight for smaller urgent orders. Repeat replenishment programmes with scheduled production slots are available for qualifying wholesale partners.
