PVC Components

Wood Components

In-House PVC Extrusion
Goodwood operates 50+ extrusion lines producing over 200 proprietary cross-sections. Compound formulation, die tooling and wall-thickness specification are all managed in-house. This means we can supply profiles to your dimensional drawing without routing through a third-party extruder -- and custom die tooling is a standard service, not a premium upcharge.
Profiles are available as full-length sticks (typically 3m or 6m) or pre-cut to your specified louvre and stile lengths, bundled and labelled for your production line.
In-House Wood Machining
20+ CNC machining centres handle basswood, ash, paulownia and pine (including FSC® certified pine). Components can be supplied at any stage of the production process: rough-sawn timber, dimensioned blanks, fully CNC-profiled louvres, or primed and ready for your final topcoat. If you have your own painting operation, we can supply pre-machined and sanded components that feed directly into your finishing line.
Sell Parts, Panels or Finished Product -- Your Choice
Because Goodwood manufactures every stage in-house, we can exit the supply chain at whatever point suits your operation. Some customers source raw profiles and cut them locally. Others source pre-assembled panels and fit them into their own aluminium frames. Others take fully finished shutters under their own brand. All three models are supported without minimum volume thresholds that differ by supply state.
All die sets are owned and maintained in-house. Profile changes and new cross-sections are developed without third-party lead times.
CNC-controlled tolerances mean every louvre in a production run is dimensionally consistent -- critical when you're assembling at volume.
3 automated coating lines can apply primer or finish coat to components before shipping -- reducing your in-house finishing workload.

Full-length or cut PVC sticks and rough-sawn / dimensioned wood blanks. You handle all machining and finishing in-house.
CNC-profiled louvres, stiles and rails ready for your painting or assembly line. Sanded and dimensionally verified.
Machined components with water-based primer applied on our automated coating lines. Ready for your topcoat only.
Pre-assembled louvre panels with tilt rod and staple rod. You supply and fit the frame. Primed or finish-coated.
Fully assembled, finished and packaged shutters under your brand. The same factory that supplies components can supply the finished product if your volume or mix changes.
Components and finished product can be mixed in a single FCL shipment. Small urgent replenishment orders can ship by air freight on short notice.
Component supply goes through the same IQC (incoming material), IPQC (in-process) and FQC (final inspection) stages as finished product. Dimensional checks, surface quality and humidity cycling tests are applied at the relevant production stage -- not skipped because the supply state is intermediate.
