Colour Customisation

Goodwood operates three automated water-based coating lines capable of matching custom colour references (RAL, NCS, or client-supplied physical samples). For wood and PVC shutters, custom stain penetration depths and topcoat sheens are achievable in standard production runs -- not just prototype quantities.

Packaging is often the most visible brand touchpoint at point-of-sale and at installation. Goodwood manages all packaging production coordination -- from structural carton engineering for safe transit through to printed inserts, branded foam inlays, swatch cards and installation booklets -- all produced to your supplied artwork files.

  • Full outer carton print (CMYK or Pantone spot colour)

  • Physical swatch sets in your format and nomenclature
  • Compression and drop testing per transit route requirements

Artwork note: Goodwood requires print-ready artwork files (PDF/AI at 300 dpi). We can coordinate with your design agency directly to resolve technical print specifications.

New Product Development

Brief → Prototype → Production

For brands entering a new category or seeking to develop a product that does not yet exist in the market, Goodwood's engineering team works from a written brief through to prototype and pre-production sampling. The full manufacturing infrastructure -- CNC machining, extrusion, coating and assembly -- is available for development runs without minimum batch constraints at the prototype stage.

  • Brief review and feasibility assessment (typically 5-7 business days)
  • Engineering drawings and 3D CAD review before tooling commitment
  • Iterative prototype revision cycles with documented change log
  • Pre-production pilot run and final client sign-off before batch production

Timeline note: Full ODM development from brief to approved production sample typically spans 8-16 weeks depending on tooling requirements and revision cycles. We will provide a project schedule at brief review stage.
