Your Brand.
Our Factory.
Built for window covering brands that handle their own marketing and sales -- but want a manufacturing partner who can take the product from concept to shelf-ready, under their name, at factory-direct cost.
You Own the Brand.
We Handle Production.
This page is written for window covering brand owners who manage their own marketing, sales channels and customer relationships -- but either don't operate a factory, or want to consolidate production to a more cost-effective supply partner.
If you're comparing suppliers based on price alone, this may not be the right starting point. If you're evaluating a factory's ability to protect your brand identity and support product differentiation, read on.
OEM vs ODM vs Private Label:
Which Do You Need?
These three terms are often used interchangeably -- incorrectly. Understanding the difference helps you enter a supplier conversation knowing what you're actually asking for, which leads to faster, more accurate quotes.
Note: Most brand partnerships begin as OEM (produce to existing spec) and evolve into ODM or private label as confidence in the supply relationship develops. We're comfortable starting at any of these levels -- and moving along the spectrum as your needs grow.
Specific Capabilities
For Brand Partners
Custom Colour Development
We match to your RAL, NCS or physical colour chip. For ODM/Private Label programs, we develop a named collection with physical sign-off samples before production commits. Water-based topcoats, powder coat and PVC compound colouring all supported.
Branded Packaging Design
From your artwork file to a print-ready carton -- we handle structural box design, print specification and production. Options include full-colour retail boxes, plain brown shipper cartons with branded inserts, and hang-tag / instruction booklet co-ordination.
New Product Development
Start with a brief or a rough sketch. Our engineering team works through profile design, material selection, mechanism engineering and sample iteration. We own the tooling on-site, so prototype turnaround is faster than factories that rely on external die makers.
Exclusive Product Series
For partners committing to a private-label program, we can lock proprietary louvre profiles, colour collections and hardware combinations exclusively to your brand in your target market. This prevents the same product appearing under a competitor's label in your region.
Typical OEM / ODM
Partner Profiles
The following are generalised buyer profiles -- not references to specific companies. They illustrate the types of organisations whose sourcing requirements fit this solution well.
Local Window Covering Brand
A regionally established brand in Australia or the UK with a loyal dealer and installer network. They've been importing shutters for years but find their current supplier can't keep pace with colour requests or packaging improvements. They want a factory that will treat their brand as a distinct customer, not a price-line order.
- Consistent colour batch-to-batch
- Branded retail-ready packaging
- Regional exclusivity protection
- OEM for current spec, then evolve
- Custom colour approval process
- Territory lock for qualifying volume
Multi-Location Window Covering Retailer
A chain with showrooms in multiple cities, currently reselling third-party brands. They want to introduce a house label -- something that ties together their colour story and store aesthetic, ships reliably and lets them control margin more tightly than a branded resale arrangement allows.
- Differentiated, exclusive product
- Premium packaging for showrooms
- Predictable margin and lead time
- ODM to build the house range
- Full branded retail-ready pack
- 20-30 day shutter lead time
Do you require a minimum order for OEM production?
There is no universal minimum -- MOQ depends on the product type, customisation level and shipping method. Container-load quantities provide the most competitive unit pricing, but we also support smaller air-freight replenishment orders for established partners. Raise your volume expectations when you enquire and we'll advise accordingly.
How long does new product development take?
A simple profile adaptation (new louvre width from an existing die family) can be sampled in 2-3 weeks. A brand-new profile with custom die tooling typically runs 6-10 weeks from design sign-off to physical sample. Full private-label program setup -- including packaging and colour development -- should be planned over 3-4 months from first brief.
Can you supply all three product categories under one private label?
Yes. Plantation shutters, venetian blinds and window shades can all be produced under your brand from a single factory. This is one of the practical advantages of our vertical integration -- you're not co-ordinating packaging consistency across multiple suppliers.
What does regional exclusivity actually mean in practice?
For qualifying private-label and ODM partners, we commit not to sell the same proprietary profile, colour collection or product spec to another buyer in your agreed target market. This applies to the specific configurations developed for your program -- not to our standard catalogue, which remains available to all customers.
